Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a treatment developed in the 1930's by Dr.Emil Vodder and is now medically recognised worldwide.It focuses
on stimulating the lymphatic system using very gentle , rhythmic pulsing movements just over the surface of the skin.As lymph vessels are as thin as a strand of silk the technique has to be feather-light.Manual lymphatic drainage is in no way like a massage treatment and no oil can be used.The lymphatic system is responsible for draining the lymph around the body which carries waste products away from the tissue and back towards the heart.
